We shoot a 2 day match,
Wild Bunch on Saturday with
Cowboy on Sunday. We also shoot
on the 5th Sunday of those
particular months.

from Idaho, and the new
SASS Governor's Cup Champion!
2011
was our 16th
year of hosting "SHOOTOUT
at HORSE RIDGE and
the 4th year we have
hosted the "SASS
Governor's Cup" during
our annual match.
In
2011 we began the
SASS Oregon State Championship
with Fun
Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun
Speed matches and a Wild
Bunch Match side-event.
Along with shooting our
12 Main Match Stages,
we also shot Long-Range
Lever and Single Shot,
Cowboy Trap, Plainsmen,
the Riding Ore Cart and
Pocket Pistol. Then
for the grand finale, the
TOP male and female shooters
and Governor's competed
in the Popular "Master
Gunfighter!"

On
the social side, we enjoyed
several entries in the SMOKIN
CHILI CONTEST!
Over
100 folks enjoyed the
popular Berry Social
Saturday night,
while listenening to
home-grown talent, country
singer Natalie Carter
win everyone's heart
with her beautiful voice!
There were several
costume contest winners
throughout the event,
and Street Howitzer received
the coveted 2011 "Let'er
Buck Award" by the Horseridge
Pistoleros!

HRP provides the Beef and
Salmon. BYOB. Locals -
share your Favorite dish!
Bring your cigars, folding
chairs, cowboy stories
and look forward to a hoot
of an evening!
Then
shoot-it-out at the "OLD
TIME SHOOT" Sunday.
Enjoy a day where we bring
back the props and stage
designs of shoots from earlier
years. If you're a new shooter,
you won't want to miss this
fun shoot!
HRP
hosts an Annual HRP CHRISTMAS
PARTY, in 2011 we are scheduled
for December 17th! This can
be the only opportunity for
some of us to dress up in our
finest 1800 period clothing!
The costuming is always a kick,
and the meal never fails to
please everyone! Join
us at

is 12th St. and Jones. Cocktails
hour starts at 5 pm, Dinner
at 6:30, followed by shenanigans
that we have yet to plan! Hope
