HORSERIDGE PISTOLEROS
We shoot CAS (Cowboy Action Shooting) the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month all year long, at 10 am (winter) and at 9 am (summer) seasons follow time change. We are the current hosts of the SASS Oregon State Championship. We also host a monthly Wild Bunch Match Jan. - Oct, and the SASS Oregon State Wild Bunch Championship in June.
We shoot at the Central Oregon Shooting Sports Association (COSSA) in Millican, OR. Located off Hwy. 20 at mile marker 24 and 25 just East of Bend, OR. The COSSA website is www.oregonshooting.com All HRP matches are conducted by the rules established by the Single Action Shooting Society – SASS – www.sassnet.com. except the minimum age to shoot with HRP is 12. HRP also hosts an annual multi-day shoot each summer, and several fun specialty matches and events through-out the year. Contact a club Officer for more information or return to www.hrp-sass.com .

The shooting competition is staged in a unique Old West style. No quick draw allowed.
OLD WEST ALIAS & COSTUMES
One of the unique aspects of SASS approved Cowboy Action Shooting is the requirement placed on costuming. Each participant is required to adopt a shooting alias appropriate to a character of the late 19 th century. Their costume is then developed accordingly. Many event participants enjoy the costuming and the historical aspects of a match, as much as the sport of shooting itself.
